I was born in Baltimore, Maryland but have always felt most at home when I was near the ocean. Books, nature and interesting people make me happy.

I have a PhD from the University of Florida and am currently working in federal consulting. My graduate studies were interdisciplinary at base, reflecting my love for interesting conversation that goes beyond subject boundaries.

I love to write, help others, and surf.
